Hiking in Teide: Roques de García
3 hours
La Orotava, Tenerife
The Roques de García trail crosses a landscape that looks like another planet: lava formations, the Llano de Ucanca and Mount Teide always in the background. It is a circular route of about 3.5 kilometres, suitable for almost everyone. Our guide, a naturalist from the island, tells how the volcano was formed, which plants survive above 2,000 metres and how the Guanche shepherds lived. We stop for photos and to breathe the mountain air. We go in groups of 12 people at most and start early to avoid the heat and the crowds.

A night of stars under Teide
3 hours
Vilaflor de Chasna, Tenerife
Tenerife has one of the best skies in the world, with Starlight certification. Above 2,200 metres and away from lights, the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye. An amateur astronomer teaches you to recognise constellations, planets and clusters with a laser pointer, and then we use telescopes to see Saturn, Jupiter or nebulae depending on the season. It suits couples, families with older children and anyone who wants a different night. We provide blankets and hot chocolate.

Quad tour through the volcanoes of the south
2 hours
Arona, Tenerife
A two hour route along dirt tracks in the south of Tenerife, among volcanic cones, pine forests and ravines. A guide leads the way and sets the pace, and we always stop for photos. Before leaving there is a riding explanation and practice on a circuit. No experience is needed: the quads are automatic and have an easy brake. You can drive or ride as a passenger. A car or motorbike licence is needed to drive.

Buggy tour in the Arona valley
2 hours 30 minutes
Arona, Tenerife
The buggy is more comfortable and faster than a quad, with a seat belt, roll cage and a seat for two. We leave Arona on dirt tracks with sea views, among terraces and pine forests. The route lasts two and a half hours, with a stop at a viewpoint. One guide leads and another closes the group, and the vehicles are connected by radio. It is a fun trip for couples or friends, and also for families with children from 6 years old as passengers.

Tandem paragliding flight
1 hour 30 minutes
Adeje, Tenerife
A tandem flight of about 20 minutes from the slopes of south Tenerife down to the coast. You take off walking a few steps on the slope, the pilot takes care of everything and the wing lifts you effortlessly. No experience or good physical shape is needed. You just run three or four steps when taking off and land with your legs bent. Flights depend on the wind. We decide in the morning according to the weather report and let you know on WhatsApp.

Food route through Vilaflor and southern wineries
4 hours
Vilaflor de Chasna, Tenerife
Vilaflor is the highest village in Spain, at 1,400 metres, and the local cooking lives off what the volcanic land gives: potatoes, goat, honey, orchards and vines over 100 years old. We do a walking tour of about four hours with four stops: a shepherd goat cheese, a family winery with a tasting of three wines, a village restaurant where we try wrinkled potatoes with mojo sauces, and a bakery with bienmesabe and almond liqueur. The group is 10 people at most. It can be adapted for vegetarians and allergies if you tell us when booking.
